The divan can be used as a single bed and for all 3 beds they provide mosquito net of correct size. The kitchen is equipped with gas oven, microwave oven, utensils and a mini fridge. The kitchen has good quality tea leaves, milk powder, biscuits, puffed rice and chanachur. Beyond all these creature comforts, the most unique aspect of this homestay is the paintings and decors that adorn the walls of the entire property. The house owner is a well known artist whose art has been showcased nationally and internationally. Yet, he is a down to earth friendly person who'll personally ensure your comfort and convenience during your stay. Colourful, thought-provoking contemporary art everywhere from the exterior paint to bedroom and bathroom will make your stay memorable.
Aynabari was awesome in every aspect. It’s perfect for family and small group of friends (4-5). The owner is a very humble person and caring. We will stay in Aynabari again if we go to Shantineketan next time.
This is a wonderful homestay that can be most aptly described as a home away from home! Run by a very friendly and genuine family. The amenities are awesome. 2 spacious rooms, optional AC, comfortably sleep 5 people, and a tie-up with a great food delivery service. The 1st floor is entirely available and has a separate entrance.
The owners ensure a warm and pleasant stay with their personal touch. The small touches like flowers, snacks and tea/coffee in the kitchen, toiletries.... make this homestay absolutely exceptional!

This is the best homestay experience I've ever had. The property is scrupulously clean, well equipped with adequate utensils, crockery, a mini fridge, a microwave, an electric kettle, fresh new toiletries, and beautifully decorated with the owner's own artworks. The location is very convenient as well. You can choose to ask for toto rides to and from the station. You can opt for meals cooked by the owner's relatives, which is absolutely lovely and home-like, or choose to cook/order in on your own. Very reasonably priced as well and everyone is so courteous and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Stayed at Aayna Homestay during this Durga Puja and must say the feeling was as homely as one can expect stepping away from home. From Sanatan da being at his hospitable best to his art acting as a the perfect decor for the rooms, the staycation was perfect. The rooms are clean, accessories provided for your comfort and Sanatan da ensuring you don't have to think about a single thing. In your leisurely hours you can go upstairs & watch Sanatan da bring life to his paintings, wander & take a stroll around Shantiniketan and enjoy the bliss of Santiniketan. Placed a bit off the main market, there's absolutely no noise (even during the festive fervour of the Pujas) to disrupt your peace of mind. If you're visiting Tagore's land, look no further than this place to have a wonderful stay. Fully recommend 🙂

Great experience staying here. Entrance to this colony is a bit confusing especially if a person is arriving via personal vehicle as the entrance looks narrow.

In very close proximity to Visha Bharati University Mela prangan. This homestay is managed by the owner himself, who is very polite and extremely helpful.

We stayed at the homestay for three days. Mr Saha and his wife were the best host I have come across, they treated us like their own people. Helped us with all sorts of things be it finding a toto, car and home cooked meals. Everything has been thought through in great detail by the homeowner to ensure great experience for the guests. I highly recommend the homestay to foreign tourists, families, senior citizens travelling to Shantiniketan. The location of the house is perfect, you can walk around Vishwa Bharati, live like a local.

I have been to Shantiniketan before and had stayed in different hotels, but this experience was something very different and fulfilling. The owner of this homestay is an accomplished artist which reflects in the interior and ambience of the homestay. This is a true homestay, a true home away from home. If you are looking for hotel like services then you should not opt out for this place. If you want a comfortable and enriching experience away from the buzz of Shantiniketan soaked in the essence of Shantiniketan then this homestay is ideal for you.
P.S.: The homestay includes a well organized kitchen with all the utensils, microwave and a mini fridge. The kitchen also had stocks of snacks and tea for us. Sanatan Da also kindly arranged Toto for us at an affordable rate.

It was a wonderful experience at Aayna Home Stay 🏡 surrounding 🌳greeneries 🌳far away from daily busy city life. The atmosphere of the house is glorious creativity of Art 🎨 & Sculptures 🎭 Neat and clean homely ambience where you can feel like your own house.

It was just an amazing experience staying at Aayna homestay santiniketan. We are two senior citizens.. me and my husband stayed there from 16th March to 21st March 2023. The owner Mr. Sanatan Saha and Mrs. Sujata Saha are humble, soft spoken and very caring... arranged everything very sincerely for us. They treated us as their uncle and aunty. Even their 10 years old sweet daughter Arshi called us 'dadan and didun'. Their overall gesture made us emotional. It was a home away from home... Aayna homestay building is aesthetically very pleasing. Moreover, greenery all around, overwhelming warm hospitality, cleanliness of the rooms and washroom totally obsessed us. We felt extremely comfortable there. Even at the day of leaving Mr. Saha accompanied us to the railway station to see us off and helped us to get in the train. We will definitely visit again and recommend everyone to make their stay at Aayna homestay during their visit.

We a family of 4, stayed here for 2 nights. The hosts are so welcoming and homely. The Rooms are clean and updated with all required facilities. The neighborhood ambience is peaceful. The owner is an artist and the whole house's aesthetic is as par. There are few scope of improvement which we suggested and they welcomed it.
